Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad is an upcoming WWII themed first-person shooter video game developed and published by Tripwire Interactive. It is a sequel to Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45. The title will focus heavily on the Battle of Stalingrad. Publisher of the title, the 1C Company, have indicated the release date will be around Q1 2011. Platforms available for the game are yet to be announced. The game will contain many new features including a new first person cover system combined with blind firing, first person collision detection as well as an entire new system of statistics tracking and enabling player development.

Focusing on the Battle of Stalingrad and the surrounding operations, both German and Russian, from July 1942 to February 1943, Heroes of Stalingrad allows the player to experience one of the most brutal battles in all of human history. For the first time ever in a first person shooter gamers will be able to experience WWII from the Axis side in a German single player campaign.
Powered by Unreal Engine 3, Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad aims to deliver unrivalled accuracy and attention to detail, along with gritty, vicious combat in multi-player, co-op and solo modes.
